BZAM is now in a position to export to European countries.
The company has received EU GMP certification for its facility in Ancaster, Ont., through its subsidiary The Green Organic Dutchman.
That means the company can now export certain medicinal cannabis products to global markets.

BZAM CEO Matt Milich says it’s a significant milestone for the company.
“Having laid the groundwork with key partners in Germany and the UK, we are ready to hit the ground running as we continue expanding our distribution network in the additional markets this opens up,” he says. “We couldn’t be more excited to share some of Canada’s best cannabis with our friends in Europe.”
The company expects to launch multiple strains in the UK under The Green Organic Dutchman brand around the end of the year.
BZAM and The Green Organic Dutchman merged earlier this year, which landed the Vancouver-based company on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
The merger created Canada’s sixth largest pot producer.
